- "This is all so cool, Blythe. I was on the web last night and I found out there's been over a dozen Bigfoot sightings in the area this year. Over a dozen, can you believe it?!"
- —Roger Baxter
Littlest Bigfoot is the twenty-first episode of the second season of Littlest Pet Shop and the forty-seventh episode overall.
Overview[]
Roger, being a Bigfoot fanatic, buys a camper trailer and takes Blythe and the pets on a camping trip.
Summary[]
As Blythe finishes up a kimono outfit for Penny Ling, Roger comes bursting through the door of the Littlest Pet Shop to show off his Rugot 3400 Mini-Tent Camper, a trailer hitched behind his car. He explains to Mrs. Twombly and Blythe that, when he was a little boy, he had a tent while everyone around him had RVs and trailers, and excitedly dreams about looking for Bigfoot. The pets overhear Roger rambling, and while the other pets get excited over Blythe bringing them along, Vinnie and Sunil become terrified of having to look for a monster like Bigfoot.
Roger, Blythe, and the pets arrive at the campsite, where Roger says that over a dozen Bigfoot sightings have been reported in the area. As that goes on, Zoe discusses her love of camping to Russell and Pepper, though Pepper dismisses it as "glamping," a Portmanteau for "glamorous camping." Sunil and Vinnie have interpreted Roger's statements of over a dozen Bigfoot sightings, however, as over a dozen Bigfoot creatures, and Vinnie proposes to start setting Bigfoot traps to defend themselves.
Somewhere else in a forest, a huge machine plows through, cutting down every tree in its path. This machine turns out to be a gigantic RV owned by Fisher Biskit, who has taken her reluctant daughters along. He demonstrates the machine built into his RV, which grabs a tree, then minces it up to create a drop of pine extract for his new line of pet shampoo.
The Biskit Twins remain unimpressed, and after attempting to text each other of their displeasure, they realize they get no reception where they stand. As Blythe prepares the table at the campsite, Penny picks some flowers to munch on. She hears some rustling in a nearby bush, sees a creature inside, hands some flowers over, and disappears within the bush. Somewhere nearby, Vinnie and Sunil dig a hole with Russell observing. Russell points out that Roger has no evidence of Bigfoot's existence and that they're only going to catch an inattentive comrade, but Vinnie and Sunil dismiss Russell and keep digging. A few feet away, Pepper tells Zoe to get ready to watch Roger try to set up a camper: After much struggling, Roger finally pops it open with him standing on it, flinging him into the air and sending him back down through the sunroof, emerging out dazed but mostly unharmed.
After Roger collapses on the floor, Blythe and the pets see a bush wiggle and hear some moaning. They all look to see what's going on, and they see Penny Ling walking out, talking about eating flowers and sharing them with her new friend, whom she describes as having feet not quite as big as Vinnie and Sunil expect. Freaking them out, plus now getting Zoe on edge, Zoe asks Penny why she can't understand the moaning. Penny clarifies that because they're imaginary forest animals, they cannot be properly understood.
Blythe gives a longer listen, figures they're definitely not real animals, and follows the sound to find the Biskit Twins—they are moaning and groaning because of their inability to find a cell phone signal. When Blythe asks what they're doing in the forest, they tell her that they were watching the TV in their father's RV when he climbed in and drove into the forest with them inside. Upon noticing them, he told the twins that he'd plow down a part of the forest for land for the twins to use. Brittany receives a signal for a brief moment midway through the explanation, and the two of them wander off to continue looking for a signal. Before long, Roger drops down in front of them from a tree and asks for their help finding Bigfoot, handing them a Bigfoot photo. They veer off in a different direction to get away from Roger, and Blythe and the pets return to the campsite. Somewhere else in the forest, Penny relaxes at a pond with her new friend. Penny tells her that Littlest Pet Shop is where her friends hang out and asks if she's interested in seeing them. She agrees to see them, and Penny heads back to the campsite. When Penny arrives, no one believes her, and she frustratedly leaves.
Fisher looks for something with binoculars and heads back to his RV, only to find it wrecked and the engine missing. Whittany suggests Blythe is responsible for the damage and did it to spite Fisher. After Fisher obtains a spare engine and repairs the RV back to shape, Whittany pulls out Roger's Bigfoot photo and gets herself an idea.
As Blythe and the pets enjoy s'mores around the campfire, the Biskit Twins, dressed up as Bigfoot, attempt to scare Blythe. It works on the pets, but Blythe sees right through them and yanks them out from hiding. At that moment, a real Bigfoot emerges from behind them and scares the twins back to the RV, where Fisher agrees to leave the forest as his RV's extraction device has been demolished.
At the campsite, Penny introduces her new friend, a sasquatch about her size named Mushroom, who tells Blythe and the others that she was responsible for repeatedly destroying the extraction machine, as she grew upset by Fisher's deforestation. When Vinnie and Sunil realize that they're seeing the Bigfoot they feared, they run off and fall into their hole. When she finishes explaining, Roger finds Blythe and tells her that he was searching all day and could not find one, then spots Mushroom. He looks at her through his binoculars, becomes terrified of her apparent large size, and runs away, falling into the same pitfall Vinnie and Sunil dug.
