I listened to the song as closely as I could, and I am confident that the edits I made were as correct as they could have been to the best of my ability. Short of asking a writer for clarification, the page has the correct lyrics now. And where do you get the idea that my edits "seem not be right with some of the users". Which users? How do you speak for them? Who is "them"? Are "they" Humanarian, and Mylittlepawpatrol? It's mostly just them, isn't it? Did they send you private messages? Are there any rules I've broken or pushed the boundaries of? If so, please tell me which ones.
It was not Humanarian and Mylittlepawpatrol. It was another user who uno your edit. I am only letting you know that something was wrong and seems that is why your edit was reverted. Plus me and Humanarian are not on speaking terms.
Ok first even as an AMDIN I can't steal a page so I thought I'd ask first. Get the party going is one of my favorite songs and I really wanted to make it. So I'm asking/hoping could I please recreate this one? You know repost. I'm not a bad guy.
That's really weird. I never thought it mattered who created an article. You'd just be copying most of the data already there anyway. Kinda pointless. Can't you just make further edits to what's already there? As far as I'm concerned, deleting an article and then recreating it with essentially the EXACT same content is never done and highly abnormal. I mean, I won't be offended or upset, just really confused and judgmental of your actions. It is my strong suggestion that you accept that I made the article first, not even thinking or expecting that anyone else would have wanted to be the first one to make it. Next Friday, I'll refrain from making an article for the next short so that you can. How's that, hmm?
Edit: Also, the idea of "stealing a page" is ludicrous. That's not even a thing anyone is able to do in a wiki. Don't talk crazy.
The only way to "steal" a page is to delete it and remake it. But as I said, it would have essentially the exact same content, so it's not even worth trying. Who cares if I created the article? No one, that's who.
I disapprove of this on principle. Let it go this one time, and I'll let you create the next one, okay? Feel free to edit the current article all you want.
Would something like this fly on Wikipedia? "But I wanted to be the one to make this article about [insert topic about breaking news like an airplane crash here]! I'm upset that [so-and-so] made the article! I want to delete it and be the one who makes it!" I don't think so.
Last edit: I mean, the short has been out for over a week now. You had plenty of time to make an article for it. Also, there's nothing wrong with this staying here for archival purposes. On normal wiki and Wikipedia talk pages, you aren't allowed to delete anything on a talk page, article or user.
